Universal OPC UA server and SCADA client
ULTech Innovative has released the final version of the universal OPC UA server, which supports all manufactured stand-alone pressure and temperature sensors TU-PTS. This server allows our customers to receive data through the SCADA client using the cross-platform OPC UA Server developed by our company. The OPC UA (Unified Architecture) standard is state-of-the-art and describes data transfer in industrial networks. It provides secure and reliable communication between devices, while being independent of hardware or operating systems, allowing the exchange of data between different devices.
The autonomous pressure and temperature sensors TU-PTS send pressure and temperature measurement data to the server via GPRS/NB-IoT according to the schedule. Using the SCADA client via OPC UA server, the system operator controls the parameters of the stand-alone pressure and temperature sensors TU-PTS, such as alarm thresholds, sampling period, validation period and data transmission period in the alarm area.
OPC UA has several advantages, including the object-oriented information model, which allows you to view data as in a web browser, and service-oriented architecture.
OPC UA combines the functionality of OPC DA for real-time data, OPC HDA for history, and OPC AE for events in one standard. Instead of a tag tree, the concept of nodes or objects is used. The data exchange is made through binary structures and XML documents, and the publisher/subscriber model is available. OPC UA provides mechanisms for redundancy and fast restoration of communication in case of failure, and data transfer takes place through the transport protocol TCP, HTTP/SOAP or HTTPS. Instead of access rights control mechanisms, OPC UA supports digital certificates and encryption of transmitted data.
